Do you really need your bf/gf to like anime?

I personally would prefer someone who shares my geeky attitude u know? It's a bit boring when every time you nerd out over a tv show and your bf/gf feels left out or meh about it. U can't have a good passionate discussion that way

I feel it's important if you are strongly into anime as most of us are, as it is an important part of your life that you should be able to share. It can be minor if you have many other similar interests which makes up for it, and maybe you are content just talking to friends or people online about it. I personally want someone who would love to watch anime with me, and loves discussing everything about them. I've never had a geeky girlfriend, but now I really want one, because I've broken up with all of the regular girls I've been with, and I am by no means just a geek. I like science, computers, anime, video games and more, but I also love cars, watching football and nascar, drinking and so many quote "manly" things, but I just don't connect with any of those girls.

I really would like it if they did because as I got older or something what happens i..if they dont support what you llike an said its ridiculous thats a fear DX Soo yeah! its important to mee plus watching anime together seems like fun ^~^ not only that if they didn't have interest at all it would be such a dull relationship because ANIMU MAN =~= goshh

Yes. I am an Otaku. Watching anime, especially a large variety, shows me that she is caring, interesting and fun, because nearly every anime or manga carries some or other message. Some carry more than one. That amounts to a ton of impactful messages, and they can change people for the better. So yeah, basically if she dosent like anime, I will try to get her into it with some of the best. If the reaction is meh, then I can't. (How can you meh Happy?)

Not at all, in fact I think relationships are boring if the two involved have too many common interests. ....That being said if you think otakus are lame or stupid then you have no chance in hell with me ^-^

Umm do I really need to breathe oxygen? Lmao no they don't but I think I could get them into it but if they refuse to like it's fine. Just don't get jealous if I spend time doing it with others regardless of the gender.

I've found that I can only date nerds, and I at least want them to be okay with anime in an "I'll watch it with you when its on the TV" sort of way. I make no apologies. XD
