if someone has a disability does it matter to you

Disability wouldn't matter to me personally. I grew up with both my parents in wheelchairs. My dad had Post-Polio syndrome so basically he had no muscle in one leg. My mom had Multiple personalities and many other issues mentally and physically. She was nearly blind as well as my dad. So if movies had subtitles I would read them out for them and so on. I never looked down on them for it. They were who they were and I love them for it. :)

Deaf, blind, whatever. What matters to me is who the person is on the inside that counts. I have a disorder myself where I find it extremely hard to connect with people, so I can understand the ostracization these people sometimes have to go through.

I think disabilities like being blind or deaf would not be a problem. being with a deaf person might be difficult for myself cause I dont know sign language at all =) If someone was blind, I would envy them. For they would not be able to bear witness to the tragedy's of this world. I myself have a mental disability, im clinically depressed...constantly. I get judged IMMENSELY because I come off as very cold to most. Its much easier not to judge anyone or anything when you walk among the people who are perceived differently. Even if I wasnt different, its not my right to judge someone based on a disability they have no control of.

No not to me as long as their a good person on the inside. The true beauty of all of us is what is on the inside, but most are too blind to see
