I've seen clannad and I have two episodes left in after story but I'm having trouble remembering anything in either that I would classify as "harem". Do you mean harem in more than the usual way of a group of girls all going after the same guy with fan service at times?

clannad is what every romance anime should aim for in my opinion.It may be a harem, but it was one of the very very good ones unlike most of the stuff made recently which is mostly fan service. Also I cried a lot especially in after-story. You typed this in a clannad after story topic and I was kinda wondering how you saw After Story as a harem?
