Oh I believe you on everything Veruc, I've experienced fairly similar things as well in my time (The weirdest for me was seeing a large white hand or wing or something clutching around my bedroom doorframe and slowly retreating when I notice it. I went to chase it and nothing was there. I didn't feel any presence nor could my mind really figure out what I saw. It was just so bizarre yet strangely cool! I don't imagine shit in clear daylight so I know that was something). A lot of weird and creepy shit goes down even in places you don't expect, especially in hospitals, I can only imagine the things your mom must've experienced :I For me I just feel presences and like you, I sometimes hear someone say my name or whisper "Hi" or "Hello" in my ear despite nobody being there. It's scary as hell with all the paranormal stuff that goes on around me but at the same time it's really exciting too! Like you said though, you can't convert a skeptic until they really experience something themselves - so it just has to happen to them. Honestly I really enjoyed reading your experiences Veruc! Have you ever considered writing a blog or something about this kind of stuff? I'd reckon you would be really good at it! Talking about your experiences and beliefs in the paranormal in great detail would be something I'd definitely read o/ And thanks for posting the video, I appreciate it XD

I would run out of things to say pretty quickly. I've only gone "ghost hunting" once and it yielded nothing. Plus I don't have any equipment to do it. I do however think I would get more results alone than being with a group of people. The only thing that happened while someone else was around was the filing cabinet but I discount it because I wasn't there in the room when it happened.

Do you think it was an orb? For a while I thought they could only show up on film or pictures but there are stories where people have said to see them with the naked eye.

@yaasshat: A scientist should not rely on faith that they have undeniable proof. They can only present that they've gathered information. And that information will lead where it may. The only thing a scientist needs to have faith in is that the rules of the universe apply everywhere. For if they don't every other argument there after is pointless.

Meh... We all have faith in something, get over it.;P I just wonder one thing, why do most paranormal things happen at night ("aliens" included)? I'd think that'd be an indicator of a few things, buuut... I am just a little bit skeptical. I don't doubt the experiences shared in here, I only question reasoning. I guess it's as was said "One of those things you have to experience.". Still, I love reading, watching and hearing personal experiences, I do love the thought of the unknown.

I've often wondered that as well. That's why the events that take place during the day are of particular interest to me. On the flip side, burglaries and other crime also increase at night. And many predators are nocturnal. If something has a sense of light and dark and understands that light sensing creatures tend not to do as well in the dark, then that creature would be smart to operate at night. Course it would also make sense to operate in Antarctica where no one would find you as well.
