Why does it always happen?

So. Why are all the guys I meet, they end up being the same? I'm not trying to be one of those 'all guys suck' kinda girls, but it does get pretty annoying. It's like, I'll talk to a geek. Everything's good. Then they get to know me, the one who ends up trusting them and they become one of my closest people. But they never get together, just talk. And randomly they stop talking to me. So much for the whole 'I'll never leave. I like you for you' blah blah. They say they don't like me anymore and that it's my fault. When I tried to give them everything. But seriously, I just want a guy to game with and who actually wants to be with me. I can always use more friends, but when you say you like a girl, you might wanna show it. Or at least have the decency to tell her. Yes, I have problems. But I usually only open up to people who I trust. Get over it. Lolz rant over. :3 What's everyone's opinions on this? Think I'm outta line? When it happens every time? I've never had a real boyfriend so I dunno. >___>' I'm generally a very happy person~ :3

I think maturity plays a lot into it, especially with guys who tend to be on the geekier side. Socially, they don't have a lot of experience when it comes to relationships and don't really know how to approach or handle one properly. You're 18, so I'm guessing you're in that late high school, early college age time frame. For some guys, it usually takes a few years into college before they become mature enough to really be in a dedicated relationship. That being said, some guys are just fickle when it comes to girls. I don't think you're doing anything inherently wrong. You've just fallen for some duds. It happens to the best of us on both sides of the spectrum.

Ditto what Cecil said. Most folks round your age don't know what they really want. While there are a few that already know in their heart what they want. Just keep lookin. You know what they say gotto kiss a few frogs befor ya find that prince.

I know that feel girl. What you expand is pretty much what my situation is like :/ but not really complaining right now just chillin working on my self.

I do as well but i have to keep going though and soul thats a good way to do it when you focus on trying to make yourself better for yourself it helps

I just realized I might have sounded like a dick there I didn't mean to say complaining as in you are complaining let me rephrase it I personally am not thinking about it so much and just kinda working on me right now. @metaljester ya dude its been good so far I'm usually really tired form all the work I'm doing working out, drawing, going to work, planning on moving out but it's all worth it and even though I' not very happy right now I'm content, satisfied with things to come I suppose I could say. @mav ya dud it's tough when you can't meet people in really life and it's mostly a tech relationship. I'm mostly waiting for this con to come around I feel like I'll be fit, impressive and the people their will have similar interests so seems like the perfect situation for something to finally work out. to bad it's all the way in MAY Xp

It's hard to say without knowing who you've met. Sometimes you just need to trust that the people who didn't hack it aren't people you needed in your life in the end.
