Where would I hire artists?

Figured maybe someone on here might be able to assist me in pinning down a website where I can find someone to do concept art for a novel I'm working on. I'm willing to pay, but have no idea where to find freelance artists to do it. I've heard patreon is a good place, but I didn't see how to hire someone for a project on there.

deviantART I could recommend you many artists who would take commissions in a heartbeat. You'd be better off scrolling through the pieces and using the search function to find an art style you like who's currently open for commissions. It's not at all expensive either.

Thanks :D And if you have any artists you recommend, I'd love to know more, I'm hoping to commission a few people, see which art comes out the best and ultimately have that person do some illustration for book.
