Music when Writing

I seriously be the only one who's thinking of specific scenes, or characters, while listening to music can I? So what type of music do you listen to when you're making your magical worlds full hatred and despair, Rape and Genocide- Sorry got personal there,- Making magical worlds full of lovable kittens and dragons? Personal, I listen to whatever I think fits the scene, or character. Usually an instrumental of sorts. But I've listened to alot of my usual stuff, Like Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, Or other rock. But they still have to fit the tone, be it violent, somber or romantic. With lyrics that fit as well. But I usually listen to music for the lyrics anyways. (Not always, but usually.) So what's some of your favorite music you listen to when getting all creative?

Ooooh, nice topic! Some older of 30stm were really inspirational for me tbh (from 'A Beautiful Lie' and 'This is War' Albums, eg. "A modern myth", "Stranger in a strange land", "Search and destroy", "Alibi"). Had my fair share of Breaking Benjamin too! ;)

Oh! Brother Marcus, Your taste is exquisite. Thirty second to mars is fantastic. Probably my favorite from them is night of the hunter. Works really well with one of my main characters actually now that I think about it. http://mrwgifs.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Hellsing-Alucard-Clapping-Anime-Gif.gif

Music does tend to tingle my creative nerve, But i usually get more inspiration from people watching. Their face, their clothes, the way they talk or walk... I take it all in stride and try to imagine what's kind of person they are. What would they do in x or y situation, let's add another random person to the mix... etc etc.
