It's funny though that you always hear about women bitching about finding a man that's financially stable but you never hear about men bitching about finding a woman that's financially stable.

Nobody was bitching about it, Mr Sensitive. Obviously in a scenario where my partner gets fired unexpectedly or something similar to that I would support them financially until they are able to do so themselves again and I wouldn't want the money back... But I don't want somebody who is financially completely depending on me just like I would not want to have to completely depend on my partner money-wise.

^Take self-defense/martial arts, some weapons training wouldn't hurt either. That way if anyone fucks with you, you can kick their ass. In the long run, the only person you can depend on is yourself. Culture and society is a temporary illusion, anyone can snap any time. Especially if the shit hits the fan than culture will degenerate into a dog eat dog world and you can either be a wolf or a chew toy.

Relax a bit right, she can say whatever she wants. She wants a guy that can protect her or at least wants to do so I believe intentions are well appreciated too so please. She is free to like the traits she wants and I am sure there is someone out there that can give her what she wants and more.

yeah like maria said there is nothing wrong with her wanting to have someone that will take care of her and protect her. although what your saying is right you can always just take self defense class i dont think thats what she means

I've dated some older women in my life and it was weird, I've dated some younger in my life and it was just as weird. So I don't know where I'm going with this other than women can be weird but fun.
