I literally was so done with setting it up. We had our Polish neighbor come over to do it for us. I got on and I played Minesweeper for a bit and I didn't turn it on again until a year or two later... LOL

Hmm it was around 1992(used BBSs since late 80s). The dialup ISPs were not yet widely known as the internet was just moving from the academic world to the consumer. I was in training for my new job at Sprint-net and we got to play with the beta of Netscape. As soon as I saw it was nothing like the gopher/lynx servers we were used to in all green-text I knew the world was gonna be transformed by this new tech. It is scary and humbling that the cell phone in my pocket is literally 10000X more powerful than my first computer in 1980. What a ride it's been so far.....
