Courage the cowardly dog

Almost everybody has seen this show what did you think of the creators art work? I liked it was creepy, funny , had a semi dark tone to it

That show.... I honestly don't think I understood the dark undertones as a kid. But going back and seeing it now, like wow that show is hella creepy @_@

Great thread timing here, Lets start on this subject, One of my personal favorite shows on cartoon network had the creepiest tone of any other show on there, I mean the very premise is a world that is full of oddities and a simple family is just trying to get by sure theres a lot of comedy but definitely by all means it gives you that kind of hopeless feeling at times. Not to mention certain 3d animation sequences such as king ramse as akid were enough to scare a lot of people along with that motel area with the lady, One of my favorite episodes involves freaky fred, or moreover sweeny todd in courage the cowardly dog form, Theres also the great fusili which has created its own theory in regards to the show that courage is experiencing everything in his head after the episode is over due to the way it ends. Everything in season 2 is just a figment of his imagination, because eustice and Muriel both get turned into puppets but never revived, unlikely to be true but a nice thought, Overall though the show is one of a kind much like invader zim was and I quite enjoyed it. Need to watch it again sometime,

^ definitly agree and invader zim was a good comedy dark humor for a children's show but overall was a good show itS audience was for teenagers and was agreeable a really good show glad I watched it
