Tournament -style Animes

Hello everyone! Just like most of you on here, I imagine, I love Yu Yu Hakusho and the tournament-style plot and progression in the show. Can anyone recommend me any other ones like this? Thanks guys and gals!!

Have you seen Flame of Recca? From episode 15 till the end is a tournament, it is 42 episodes, if you like Yu Yu Hakusho, you'd probably enjoy it, they are fairly similar

Hunter x Hunter has themes like a tournament in two of its seasons. Zatch Bell is one massive tournament. Just the Chunin exam arc of naroto MAR fits the bill quite well I know what you mean though. I honestly want a show where there isn't a main character and its a massive tournament with 1v1 fights. Round 1 could be season one. S2 would be rounds 2 and 3. So on

I think it would be interesting to see a tournament style anime with no main character. That means that more characters would get time to shine and it would be left more in the audience's hands to decide who they really wanted to become invested in. I would just be worried about the show becoming difficult to follow with so many characters getting the same amount of screen time.

Not sure what you mean by tournament but im assuming like a battle royal theme so i will go with mirai nikki and btooom,
