Mine would be F. Scott Fitzgerald. I enjoy his writing style. Many consider it superfluous, but you can tell he really knew well humanity's heart. "So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past." I also think that his real life story is beautiful. His wife, Zelda, went "crazy" studying Ballet, died in a pyschiatric ward caught on fire. He, shortly after, died of a heart attack. How about you?

George R. R. Martin. Creator of my favorite overall series in general, A Song of Ice and Fire.

I see on wiki the visual adaptation is Game of Thrones. Never seen the former, but I'm noting the author and series.

It is, The show is what got me into the books. Which are much better.

michael crichton and Stephen King are my favorites. And Robert Ludlum is up there too

Kiersten White and Lee Goldberg I Just love the Paranormalcy trilogy and Mr. Monk series. =3

Brandon Sanderson A. Lee Martinez Christopher Moore The last two write humorous books. Sanderson writes fantasy.
