Do women like overly shy guys?

I think no for women liking shy guys. They want a man to take action. Stand up for them. Make the first move. Be a MAN. Strong, brave, and courageous. A princess don't want the side kick. They want the Hero the brave knight. I'm shy to start, then I transform in to the brave hero.

I like shy guy as a friend. :|

I dislike people who are shy but then use it as a tired excuse to why they can't initiate human interaction and expect others to do it for them (not aimed towards anyone in this thread, but in general). Those are the people who won't get a relationship.

So do you dislike shy people in general or the kind you just described? I can't initiate human interaction because I'm legitimately anti-social (in person). I constantly get the feeling that I'm being judged or stared at which makes it terribly hard for me. :0

I dislike people who whine about how no one will give em a chance because they're shy/socially awkward so they refuse to try. If you're shy and happy with your relationships with people, than that's whatever since you're satisfied. But when they themselves refuse to interact with others and expect other people to do all the work and somehow see that they're good people, it's just kinda childish. It's like whining that no one will pick me for their team when I myself refuse to play anyways.

Also there are people who do make themselves approachable to others without having to make the first move. But it still requires probably having to change up yourself a bit, like changing up your body language. But the thing is is that you have to be approachable.
