I personally listen to almost everything, but my favorite genres are probably as follows: DnB Jazz House Electronic Guitar/Acoustic Chiptune/Chiptek ... and probably more. Awhile back I compiled a list of some of my favorite songs if anyone wants to give them a listen. They are sort of sorted by genre... kinda. http://pastebin.com/pyvN6xGS

Any genres. The song must be good and harmonies for my ears. I also like metal.

I usually prefer music with no lyrics these days. The best ones in my book are ambience types like this: http://youtu.be/3gxNW2Ulpwk

My favorite genre is dancehall reggae but I listen to Jrock and Pop a lot. I barely listen to anything American anymore, including rap and R&B

Mostly alternative rock, industrial and metal. About anything dark and angry. I hit puberty when Nirvana was becoming big and my tastes just got darker and angrier from there. From Nirvana in middle school to Metallica in early high school and immediately to Marilyn Manson and Nine Inch Nails by 10th grade. Later to Korn and Tool and System of a Down and Rob Zombie and then to Cannibal Corpse, Mortician, Cradle of Filth. A couple years later to Mayhem, Immortal, Dark Throne, Emperor, Naglefar, Bathory, and various other Norwegian/Swedish satanic black metal bands. Later I got more into dark industrial like Velvet Acid Christ and Shattered Glass Playground: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mr2nsWIfr0k My ex got me into Emilie Autumn (victorian industrial): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsgF_hTRj64
