Clannad Review and Rant

Hello people of MaiOtaku! Here's an anime review and rant for you all! So I decided to watch Clannad (all of it) and I've got to say that it is the best feelsy anime that I had ever sat through. It has many good characters and a well rounded story and is worth re-watching. A must watch for people who love romance and/or feels animes. Ok, enough about the good part about the anime and time to rant! So I chose to watch the Clannad Movie because I needed to finish the Clannad entirely. Nobody warned me that it was so bad! Usually if you watch the full series of an anime and you see a movie, you'd think it's a continuation of the anime to cut it off the right way. Well it didn't turn out so smoothly with this movie. It was a crappy recap with an hour and thirty three minutes I won't get back. At first, I thought the movie would be with Tomoya and Nagisa seeing their daughter, Ushio, grow up and end with even more feels. But nope, I guess I was wrong on my end for watching that dead end movie. Anyways, that's enough of my ranting to get you through the day. Thanks for reading!

Before i see the ending of Clannad After story ,i cried myself to sleep.10/10 for this anime , btw Clannad means Familiy in Ireland i think :D

Yes it is... Right now that anime is on sale online at rightstuf. Wish I hadn't bought it when I did. @ aangel: series wow.

Yeah, I guess the movie was suppose to be a retelling with a higher focus on Tomoya and Nagisas relationship, as they felt the anime focused to much on the side characters. But in the end it seemed really rushed to me. But Clanned secondly has its place in my heart as one of the best Dramas I've ever seen. Air on the other hand was just crual.

It was pretty good. After story got me a bit more but the most feelsy for me is AnoHana. That was sooooooo depressing... and Tokyo Magnitude 8.0... then sprinkle the end of Elfen Lied and you have a recipe for utter depression. Grave of the fireflies is optional. Dango, Dango, Dango Dango... Dango Dai Kazouku!
