What have we beat or even played seriously? My Japanese is pretty sketchy. I beat Landstalker for the Mega Drive. Beat one characters playthrough in Romancing Saga. Only got half-way through Dragon Warrior 5.

Plenty of fighting games, I got in Japanese because I just can't wait for those. But then again, there fighting games, so knowing what they're talking about isn't mandatory. Buuut, now that I'm actually learning Japanese, I'm seeing those in a whole new life. In a few months, I will probably start playing games that I couldn't before because they weren't translated. I remember playing one of the Ranma 1/2 fighting games.. One of the characters voice samples sounds like it was saying: "I'VE GOT TO MAINTAIN!!!" Good times :)

I beat Super Robot Wars Z2.1 on the PSP and played a lot of fighters, specifically the Gundam vs. games and Melty Blood. I have Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix but I stopped after the first world due to the sheer amount of Japanese that I needed to translate to play.

I played every single Ranma 1/2 game xD I think those are the only ones that were never translated.

Nice! There was a "Hard Type" version of the Ranma 1/2 fighting game, right? What was the difference?

The only one I really remember is an old rom of Ghost Sweeper Mikami that was completely untranslated. I did play a few Japanese rom versions of games before they got a western release (Megaman Zero, Pokemon Ruby) and a few fan-translated games (Currently playing Phantasy Star Online 2).
