Wrath of Orcaeth

Just a little story I'm working on. Tell me what you think so far. In the empty dimension know as the void, two fighters, a sorcerer and a knight, decide to settle their differences. "It's not too late, you know," the Sorcerer said with a cold smile. "We don't need to fight." "I'VE HAD ENOUGH!" the Knight angrily replied." I will end this, once and for all!" The Knight drew his sword and charged straight at the Sorcerer. Once he was close enough, he swung the sword, aiming for the Sorcerer's neck. The Sorcerer merely teleported some distance behind the Knight, and shot a fireball at his back. The Knight, caught of guard, was hit full force by the fireball and was now lying unconscious. The Sorcerer examined his body and simply said,"Fool."

Actually sounds like a prologue. I imagine this as a quest starter for the knight, or perhaps not even the knight, but his son or apprentice.

Well, here's some more Idon awoke in a panic. Then realizing it was just a dream he calmed down. He wondered who that Sorcerer was and why he was fighting him. But he didn't have time to think about it, because at that moment, the door slammed open, and a pink-haired girl came in. "AND JUST WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING,"She yelled. Idon knew he was in trouble, even if she had kept her mouth shut. "Oh, hi Annalyn, what bring you here?" Idon asked, trying to keep her calm. But Annalyn was not going to calm down soon. "Don't 'Oh, hi Annalyn' me. Do you remember what day it is? Your going to be late! So get a move on!,"she says, then angrily walks out. Idon sighed."That girl is such as pain. Why does she do this to me." Idon shrugged off the thought. He decided to get ready, not really bothering to brush his dark brown hair. Instead, he just put on his uniform and grabbed his sword and shield and walked out the door.

So the dream was a possible future event yet to occur, no doubt we will discover the sorcerer and how he relates to the knight in probably the next part? and the girl is either telling him to go out and train or fight in a tournament or something im guessing. If it is a tournament of some sort it would be a good way to introduce said sorcerer as a low level nobody who works his way up and becomes an all powerful evil sorcerer or have him be the knight's best friend who meets him every day along with the pink haired girl who's also the knight's childhood friend but then something happens and theyre forced to leave on a quest together or the knight gets sent on a mission and slowly hints of the sorcerer being evil leak through as the 3 travel together and something bad happens to the pink haired girl like she dies or something (maybe at the hands on the sorcerer? ) and the knight has motivation to fight him. Whatever leads up to it, the dream seems to be the final stage in this story. It looks epic. Im going to keep reading to see how this all pans out.

As Idon leaves the room, a tall buff figure as his back leaned up against the wall. Idon recognized his face and was not very happy about it. "What do you want, Talberon," Idon said, with a hint of disappointment in his voice. Talberon shrugged."I was just standing here, wondering when you would wake up." Talberon pointed a finger at Idon. "You've always been sleeping in, Lazy Bones. It's a wonder you've made it this far. You don't have what it takes to be a knight. I think the Battlemaster has taken pity on you." "Cut it out!" said a voice from down the hall. Idon knew who it was without looking. Annalyn was back. She point her finger at Talberon. "You need to stop picking on Idon, otherwise I'll gut you like a pig. Besides isn't there somewhere else you need to be?" she asked. Talberon didn't know what to say" Well.....I.....uh.....bye," Talberon said, right before dashing off. Annalyn then turned her attention to Idon."You're coming with me." she said, right before grabbing hid collar and dragging him. She dragged him all the way to the central plaza of Swordheath. Waiting for them was a man in his 40's. Regardless he carried a sword at his side. Idon knew that the man was the Battlemaster. He spoke now. "You know, Annalyn, when I asked for you to fetch him, this isn't exactly what I meant." Annalyn shrugged." He was taking too long, father, so I was forced to drag him here." The Battlemaster turned his attention to Idon." Today's the day you finally become a knight, Idon, and you almost missed it. You're an excellent swordsman, you just need to stop being lazy." Idon said nothing. The Battlemaster clapped his hands together and said,"Well, It's time for the ceremony to begin."
