Yes. Katawa Shoujo. Although the deaf/mute character in it was more egotistical/sadistic than anything. Lol. I've met a few actual mutes in my life actually.

My favorite was Rin, even though I tried going down her path first, I ended up doing Emi's orz

@Buji My favorite is probably Hanako. Tried going down Shizune's path first, ended up with Emi though. Rin strongly reminds me of an ex of mine, so i'm not a personal fan of her. I've gotten every ending of every path, multiple playthroughs. I was that bored. Lol. Probably did it all in a 3 day period back in early 2012. I absolutely love the soundtrack. O_o

Shizune's route was easily the most well-written, reminded me quite a bit of something André Gide would write (that is, if André Gide wrote visual novels about disabled girls). I didn't find her to be egotistical or sadistic in any way though. I think she was constantly seeking a way of escaping the loneliness/shallowness associated with her family's bourgeois lifestyle and ultimately found a kind of existential peace through Hisao's naive demeanor. Also, Hanako is the superior girl. That being said, shizune@outlook.com is still my personal email.

@milkey She came off as sadistic/egotistical at the beginning. I don't think she is in general, I kind of rushed that post and worded things a little poorly. And I would have to agree with everything you wrote in your last post. PS. Nice email haha. :3 @metal It's not the best, but it's at least worth checking out one day.
