Greetings and Salutations! saw this site out of pure chance, and seeing as there aren't many Otakus near me, thought to myself..."self, we should try this" to which I responded "Sure why not"...and here I am :D

Welcome friend! You'll find many otakus hiding all over the place. You may not even be alone haha. Hope to see you have many friends here and do stay active! Just go around and don't be afraid to say hi!

Thanks :D, plan on staying active; gives me something to do at least :). And most of the "hiding" ones tend to be either way too young or simply nowhere near me :)

Salutations! I completely understand you when it comes to living in a place with no Otakus. My town is lame and most of the people in it are as well. Most of the people here are, you know, lame and boring citizens. XD

yep, "normal" people going out and doing things they probably don't like because of social norms are rather boring to be around for long periods of time. But doing what you love and going against the norm is much more interesting, eh?

I hate social norms. -_- If I like something, I'll tell you straight up. There's no reason for me to try to 'fit in' if I'm not going to be comfortable with myself. Heck yeah, being yourself and having fun is much more interesting. If people don't accept you, then screw 'em.

I wouldn't want to screw anyone who didn't accept me :). (yay word puns) If (and I probably will) I still love anime when im 99 years old, ill still let people know <3

Normies are boring, anyway. One time my college professor was asking everyone what they wanted to do after they graduate. Everyone said your typical answers, and I said, "I want to be the next Pirate King." He was so confused. XD Norms are lammmeee.
