You know, I keep forgetting there's a gallery in the profiles... Well, I still like using my real face up front. As kittygourmet says there's more connection to the person. Just my opinion but I don't consider this place too casual because of the initial structure of how this site is kinda set up to meet on a more personal level. @I have no creativity That would be awesome actually, but to my luck I'd probably look like an anime otaku. Well, more than I do now anyway.

I prefer actual pictures too, but if you really like a character or series, I don't have a problem with you using them as an icon if you have other real pics of yourself on your profile. I'm a big Classic Sega nut, so I used a Segata Sanshiro icon for a long time as well as had some other anime and manga pics on my old profile.
