Haha I have no clue as to what I should put on here -.-
soooo
I am a 21 year old, Otaku (as you have guessed)
I dislike Bigotry,Drugs, and Dishonesty with a fiery passion.

I am currently a Student of a Community College, no real aspirations for a professional job title. Just a few classes that peak my interest, like writing, and cooking, and photography.
Unfortunately I am unemployed.

I feel like it's a must so, my top 6 favorite Anime series, and why.

1. Welcome To The NHK, because I feel like it really touches base with the viewers who are stuck in that unfortunate rut. Also it Focuses on what a lot of people wish could happen. Finding that one person that you need to live and vise versa.

2. Cowboy Bebop
Bebop was one of my favorite Anime series growing up, the reason is just because I enjoyed it. Though getting older and older I slowly understood the meaning behind each episode. Hard to describe each episode in one word, or sentence. What I take from the series, is that no matter how strong you are, or cunning you are. You're past will always find you, and if you don't deal with the situation head on you'll feel the consequences.

3. FLCL, No real deep reasoning behind this Anime ^.^
I just really liked the animations, and art. The Soundtrack was superb, and it was on of the first Anime's that introduced me to Japanese Music. Will always be a favorite.

4. (sorry) Sword Art Online
Reasoning for this is pretty cliche and corny. What I took away from this Series, is that no matter what struggle you endure. Love will always be you're shield in the heat of war. Also this series just made me envy the nerve gear so much, being able to feel, eat, and interact wit the society of a video game will always be a dream that I wish to someday fulfill. (I could live without the whole people die IRL through the game)

5. Samurai Champloo, I choose Champloo because alike FLCL, it was the first anime that had just put me in a trance. I fell in love with Champloo. I saw it on Adult Swim after Toonami. The opening title sequence captured me. It was the first time I had heard a rapper used on an opening. Taking interest in the soundtrack of the show, I felt more in tune with the story line.(anyways...) What I take from the story is, most things in life aren't what you imagine them to be.

Last one.
(Can't believe you read all of that)
6. Princess Jellyfish
SURPRISE!!!
Though I had recently became a fan of this 2010 one season anime. I had been sucked into re-watching it several times. I enjoyed this series because it showcases a female protagonist that isn't obviously written, or drawn to be a sexual big boobed girl that lusts after a male character. It's a realistic awkward female Otaku, who is easily discouraged. Though when a Jelly fish is in a dire situation, she turns into the hero (of Jellyfish).
What I take away from this is, although being Otaku is frowned upon. We're still human beings, and if given the chance, we can all show how beautiful we can be when we show it.

Also I really like Deathnote, and Code Geass. Those don't need explanations. They're just awesome ^>^

One more thing, SAY HI! :D I enjoy chatting with people to whom are also in love with anime, Manga and light novels. It'd surely be a swell thing to meet someone from here IRL,
Don't know about your area, but the Manga and Anime culture in Oregon is getting quite big. Supposedly there is a cat, and manga cafe opening this summer in Portland:3....I babble too much..
