A group of 15 elite high school students are gathered at a very special, high class high school. To graduate from this high school essentially means you'll succeed in life, but graduating is very difficult.

Hachimitsu Academy, one of the strictest girls-only academies in Tokyo, has decided to at long last admit boys into their school. Standing on the outskirts of Tokyo, the Hachimitsu Private Academy was a storied all-girls boarding school for elite young women full of potential and good breeding.

Rintaro Okabe is a self-proclaimed "mad scientist" who believes that an international scientific organization named SERN is conspiring to reshape the world according to its own interests. He and his friend Itaru Hashida inadvertently create a gadget able to send messages to the past.

Tomoya is labelled as a delinquent at his school because he is constantly late and skips classes, but he seems to have little care about how others perceive of him.
