Mm, its a really good story, set in the reign of King Henry the 8th. He was the one with all the wives and syphilis and stuff, lol. Anyway the story's about Mary Boleyn, sister to Anne Boleyn, the king's second wife who was beheaded. Most times when her story is told, Anne's that is, people neglect to mention she had a sister. But she did, and Mary was almost just as important, 'getting' with the king and bearing him two babies. She almost became queen. Its a really good court intrigue book, but a bit long cuz it covers the span of like, 15 years. If you get a chance, read it, its wonderful! :D

I hope you get there! I've been to a few cons. T've done some pretty good BS cosplay though lol, but I think I might buy mine for now hopefully I can get the money to do so, but There is another cosplay I have to sew and it'll be a wile lol. I hope we can meet at a con one day too that'd be awesome! What cons do you hope to go to in '11?

The Lottery? Sounds familiar. Isn't that the story where they draw numbers to see who in town gets stoned to death? That story was wicked cool, but creepy.
Though I'm sad to say I don't read much historical romances, except by one auther who I really enjoy. Can't remember her name right now, but she wrote the Other Boleyn Girl~

Nah I understand your feel. I was thinking something like that too, but It was more like Goth/Punk meets High fashion type imagery. I'm in love with the 1800's my promdress(Default pic) was based after a victorian dress we had it made case we didn't have time to do it ourselves, my mother and I that is. We were making a Code Lyoko cosplay I was Yumi. But your style seem rad I hope you guys get up there I'd love to wear them it sounds like a great idea
