I'm from the Frederick County area of Maryland. But because everything in Frederick is either farmland or suburbs, and I used to be a swimmer I've been all over MD, VA, DC, PA, and DE. So I'm use to traveling.
I graduated UMBC (University of Maryland Baltimore County) with dual degrees in Graphic Design and Animation, but haven't been able to do a thing with it since. Right now I work at an alternative foods grocery store/farmers co-op.
I got into anime because I love their willingness to experiment with new and unconventional concepts. The series that turned me to the dark-side was FLCL. I don't shun western media but I do wish they weren't so hung up on ratings and profit (Doctor Who being the one major exception).
Physically I'm 6'1" with blue-grey eyes, broad shouldered but a little soft around the middle.
My appearance and quite shyness can make me seem intimating at first, but I'm really best described as a big teddy bear.
