Hee, I think Ryuk just did it for the fun.. But he is to be blamed. When I think of protagonists in Death Note, I don't think L. I think Kira as well. It's like, he didn't do anything wrong but kill off the people who did wrong. I meean, yeah, killing you-know-who and the entire police force went overboard.. Lol. Lol, yes, Rem is a female. The ghostly shinigami with the male voice (in the japanese version anyway) who was Misa's shinigami is a girl. She killed (name blocked out for spoiler) for Kira because she fell in love with Misa. And if Kira was a protagonist, wouldn't Misa have to be too because she helped carry out the duties?

Rem.. she was kind of an idiot, but we have to blame the shinigami that fell in love with Misa for that, don't we? But I said protagonist. Like, the good guy.

The whole entire song? I do the same thing with some songs, then I think about it and realize I think I need to get out more lol. We had a theme song contest and I knew almost all of them.

Exactly. As long as something has a good enough story (and art for me..), it shouldn't matter. I just finished Death Note about two months ago. What got me to start watching it was over how many people fangirl'd over it. I liked it. ^^;' Except we'd have heated debates about who's the protagonist of the whole series.
