Need to update this eventually :)

Even as "just friends" I'd prefer chatting for a few weeks or months even first before hanging out because I'm shy like that.

I'm putting some important information up here near the top because you need to know a few things if you're interested in being more than friends.

1.) Probably the biggest fatal flaw that I have is that I dislike driving. -- I can, and sometimes do, drive. I have my own car, license, and everything :) -- But I don't like driving in the snow, or ice. I don't like driving in "City" traffic (4 or 6 lanes and people merging and cutting you off etc). I also don't really like to drive "new" places til I know where I'm going so I can plan ahead where I need to be, what lanes, etc. I have a phobia about it and it sucks, and yeah if that's going to be a problem it's best you should know ahead of time. I'm not saying I never drive, but I'm just putting it out there so we can get that out of the way.

2.) I live at home still. I like being with my family, it does help to save money, and I don't see any reason why I'd want to live by myself when I'm single. My folks are super cool about letting me live my own life and have friends or whatever over, but I know it might be awkward for some people, so once again - just putting it out there.

3.) I've been married once before. He was an abusive asshole, so it lasted only 3 months (though we dated for about 10 years.) He had a lot of hatred and anger in his heart. I didn't have a lot of self esteem or respect for myself back then and it took me a long time to find that respect and do what was best to end the relationship and move on. -- Some people because of religious beliefs may not want to involve themselves with a divorced woman - so you have a right to know before choosing to speak to me.

4.) I'm "curvy" probably always will be. I'm also not the most "active" person. -- I also snore a lot probably from said "curviness" -- So if you are a light sleeper, probably not a great match? :)

----------------------

With the flaws out of the way, I should probably list some good qualities to make you want to keep reading, right? lol.

1.) I'm probably the "geekiest" girl ever in the history of forever :) - I've loved anime, games, boardgames, scifi and fantasy books and movies, and web developing and all sorts of geeky hobbies all of my life. If you make it to the end of this profile you'll see all my favorite games, anime, hobbies, etc. I have almost every RPG since 8 and 16 bit days through (almost) current. I'm one gen behind but plan to get caught up soon :). I also play lots of other games too not just RPGs but RPGs are my favorite.

2.) I'm a really super sweet, easygoing, kind, warm, affectionate, loving, understanding, friendly, optimistic, cheerful, calm, and gentle person. It takes a lot to upset me, get on my bad side, make me angry, etc. I try to be as nice as possible to everyone. And when I'm dating someone I am super cuddlely and snugglely and love to hold hands, rub your back and shoulders, steal kisses, tickle you when you least expect it, mess up your hair, give lots of hugs, link arms, etc, even when in public. :). Cuddles are the bestest.

3.) I'm intelligent, have an MBA, work full time as a web developer and graphic artist, have held the job now for several years. I'm stable, and dependable - not a gold digger ^-^b. This girl makes her own money.

4.) I really don't expect or demand much - I just really want someone that shares my interests and is as warm, kind, sensitive, and sweet as me.

I should probably also list a few other things about what I am looking for in a potential mate.

1.) Must drive. This makes me a hypocrite, but so be it. Spent almost 4 years in a "semi" long relationship with someone who didn't drive - and given that I don't like to drive - you can imagine that eventually this became unpleasant for me.

2.) No Smoking - sorry, I grew up around family who smoked all my life, and I hate the smell. Even when someone is kind enough to step outside, I still smell it when they return, for up to 20 minutes even on their hair, clothes, breath, etc. It grosses me out. I also have allergies which get really severe when I'm around smoke. So unfortunately it is a deal breaker.

3.) When it comes to drinking/partying - if you drink "a lot" by that I mean every weekend, or every other weekend, we are not going to work out. I am not saying I will never drink. It's been about 5 months since my last drink. I only drink one or two drinks. I don't like "going out" to bars and clubs, and I do not think it's a "healthy" lifestyle for a relationship. Drinking a glass of wine, or a mixed drink to celebrate a birthday or anniversary or special occasion can be nice and "romantic" or "Fun" once in awhile. But I seriously only drink like 2 or 3 times a year. So those who like to drink heavily aren't a great match for me.

4.) I do not tolerate abusive drug use of any kind.

5.) You must love cats, or at least be kind to and tolerate sharing your life with "indoor only" cats. I have 2 of them and they are going to be a part of my life for the next 15+ years so if you ask me to choose between the cats or you, cats are gonna win, they were there first. I wouldn't mind getting another cat or two, or merging our families together someday if you also have cats. :) I love dogs and other animals too - but the dogs I have are "family" pets and will likely not move with me when I move someday - so I'm open to people who like or want dogs too ^^.

6.) It'd be really nice if you wanted children someday, though not a total deal breaker if you did not. I want them some day. But I have PCOS, so I may have trouble having any of my own. I'd be open to adoption at some point too.

7.) I'm not a gold digger, as I mentioned, I make my own money. But still, you have to have ambition. You need to be working full time, and have goals and a vision for your future. Things like getting married someday, raising children, or even just buying a house and cohabiting those things all cost MONEY. -- Being unemployed, OR working "part time" or for "minimum wage" is not going to cut it. Like I said - not a gold digger. I don't expect or need you to buy me gifts, take me on expensive dates, etc, but I want "security" I want to know that who I choose to share my life with can actually "make a life together" with me, and not just blow smoke up my skirt about "fantasies" for the future. I'm not saying you gotta make 6 figures, but there has to be some level of dedication, and saving, to reach a goal if we're going to be "together" at some point. I'm getting older, these things are getting a lot more important to me. I want a family and someone I can count on to be a responsible adult and "equal partner" throughout the relationship.

8.) This should go without saying, but you need to be a "nice" person - I've gone through abuse, both physical, and mental, and I won't stand for it anymore. I know the warning signs, and I can see through all of your bull- so at the first sign of any kind of abusive behavior it's over.

9.) Must love anime and videogames. I didn't think this was that important before -- because I thought I have "friends" I can talk to about games or anime, and the types of games I like tend to be more "single player" -- but the fact is, I miss having someone to share my geeky hobbies with. It's been a long time since I've had anyone that I could share that side of my personality with and since games and anime account for about 75% of my interests, it's a huge part of my life and a boyfriend should be like a "best friend" anyways, so why wouldn't I want someone that liked games and anime too?

Alright, now that I've been really honest, upfront, and also a little picky, let's move on to the best part of this profile, the games and anime section. Yay.

I've been gaming since atarii 2600. I have just about every gaming console released over the past 25 years, and well over 500 games. I love pen and paper games like D&D, Pathfinder, Whitewolf, etc. But I have no one else to play with! I love anime, been watching it for well over 15 years now, back before the time of DVDs even when box sets used to be spread across 20 VHS tapes lol. I collect Asian Ball-jointed Dolls and would be absolutely thrilled to meet some local ABJD enthusiasts. I also like board games and CCG (collectible card games), and Miniatures. I would love to go to conventions, ren-faires, cosplay, and also do non-geeky things with people who share my interests. I love cute stuff. I'm a shy introverted person, but I tend to open up quickly with games or anime as a common ground for discussion. I typically open up quicker to extroverted people.

There's lots of other stuff I like but I could be typing this all day lol :) Maybe if we hang out we can compare collections or marathon some anime or play games together. ^-^

Until then, drop me a line if you'd like to chat.

It'd be really cool if you liked dollfie dreams or asian balljointed dolls or Pure Neemo, but I don't think there's many straight men that do? lol :)

Anyways hope to chat with you soon <3!
