Yeah I'm alive....I just got so tied up and such that I figured I would give myself a break from here, but now I'm back! I'm doing alright. I had this crazy idea to go back to college to get teaching certification so that's what I'm doing now. how are you?

well it's showing in Japan and it's based off what they call an Otome game where practically there is a female character and many male characters and you can choose who she ends up with....sounds girly I know but that's the jist of what otome is but it's not quite like that with the anime... the anime has historical characters in it from a real group called the Shinsengumi (you should wikipedia it if you are ever bored) and practically it goes through real events that happened in japanese history as well as in shinsengumi history...the only difference it that there is this girl (Yukimura Chizuru) who disguises herself as a boy to try and find her father who has gone missing. she ends up running into the shinsengumi by nearly being killed by bloodthirsty 'rasetsu' (kind of vampire/demon like creatures which makes this part obviously fictional) and ends up being saved by the shinsengumi, who take her in and she participates in events the shinsengumi go through such as the incident at Ikedaya Inn (once again just look up shinsengumi whenever) etc. now like in all anime there has to be some kind of bad guys and he is an 'oni'....you should watch an episode or two and see what you think...it's only going to be about 13 episodes long and they are at 9 (subbed) right now. if you need a link or something then let me know

i'm really liking full metal alchemist. I love Ed and Al lol. Ed kind of reminds me of myself from time to time....well the shortness and all lol. Its really good. I just need to find time to finish like the last half of the series >_<
