Hi, fellow anime fans. I have to admit, I've never actually made a dating profile before. However, lately I have been catching myself day dreaming of the possibilities of romantic companionship, and I've come to realize that I'm never going to find that girl for me unless I put myself out there, so here I am! Hi. :)
It is at this point that I should probably tell you a little about myself. My nickname is Katie, and I am currently 21 years of age. My permanent home is in Virginia, but I'm currently attending a University in Maryland where I am double majoring in Japanese and Economics. If all goes to plan, I will be graduating in 2015. Wish me luck!
To state the obvious, I love anime and manga, like I'm sure all of you do as well. My love of anime and manga is the whole reason I've started to learn Japanese and continue to do so. However, as much as I love anime, I still have other interests. I also have an interest in what many people would consider "animated children's movies". Whether movies are created by Disney or Pixar, I'm sure to love them. My favorite studio, however, is Dreamworks Animation as I am completely in love with both How to Train Your Dragon and Megamind.
I enjoy reading fanfiction whether it is for an anime, book, or movie. I also enjoy drawing fanart for a variety of series which I post on deviantart. (I'm not that great, but I'm trying to get better)
I also enjoy playing video games from time to time, but I'm not someone you would consider a gamer. I love Nintendo but I also play the occasional xbox and ps2/3 game, etc.
Along with my interest in entertainment, I also have a great love of animals. Whenever I get the chance, I like to stop by my local animal shelter to help out. I'm also a member of my University's Animal Welfare Organization. Being that I live on campus right now, I can't get one now, but I should probably warn you that I have every intention of getting a snake when I graduate. I'm really looking forward to that!
