Love good serial and great stories, which are something of the things that drew me to anime in the first place. Plus, it's fun XD
I started from Sailor Moon and branched out a little from there (my favorite director is still Kunihiko Ikuhara); I still tend to go more for shoujo, but a friend of mine recently turned me on to Fullmetal Alchemist (which I loved!), so I'm looking to broaden my horizons a little. I'm also venturing back into RPGs, which I haven't really played in forever...
After years of subtitle-watching, I managed to complete a year of Japanese in college, and I'd LOVE to spend some time over there, but I'm not sure how likely that is.
Right now I'm still living in San Diego (been here all my life). I work as a sysadmin for a ... prominent online gaming company :)
