I like to see myself as an educated young woman. I love to learn about almost everything. I cannot think of one subject that I do not have some interest in. I love to learn and I cannot imagine how people who do not love learning can live. I try to learn something new everyday.
I love animals very much, and I have a lot of pets. Two dogs, three cats and two rats. I've had many others, rabbits, ferrets, horses, even a raccoon once. To me, the love of an animal is something that must be earned and cherished.
I have a very animistic view on spirituality, meaning that in my eyes, everything has a spirit, even unliving things. I don't follow any religious path because I beleive that all religions have their good and bad qualities, their thruths and lies. Technically I am called a Pagan. I love to discuss religion and religious beleifs with others.
I like to play video games. I play my Wii pretty often, and Wii bowling is probably my favorite game at the moment. I also like Harvest Moon, Pokemon, Kingdom Hearts, the Sims and Zelda. (Zelda is my favorite, but don't tell Pokemon. lol) I also enjoy jigsaw puzzles.
I am a furry. Being a furry means that I enjoy anthropomorhic art. I am also a therianthrope. I keep my furry and therianthropy seperate. To me, furry is not a fetish anymore than anime is a fetish.
As far as anime and manga go, I'm not super obsessed with anime and manga at all. I don't like it any more than American cartoons. For me, being anime does not mean I will automatically like a show. I have a few favorites though. My favorites are Death Note(I am a total L fantard... He's my eyecandy of choice), Fullmetal Alchemist, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Ouran High School Host Club, Gravitation, Wolf's Rain, Tenchi, Tsukuyomi Moon Phase, FLCL, Fruits Basket, Cowboy Bebop, Detective Conan, Inuyasha, Arashi no Yoru Ni, Mouse, Princess Princess and pretty much all of Studio Ghibli's movies (Though I didn't care much for Porco Rosso.)
I am also a fan of Japanese live action films. I love J-horror. My favorites are Kairo, Ju-on, Ringu(all 4) Battle Royale, Suicide Club the Death Note movies... Shimotsuma Monogatari was great, not a j-horror though...
