guilliano
before i start with this one no need to get offendid i know it's a sensitife isseu but it's just oppinions okay here goes so im not atheist but not religeos either i believe there is some thing like a god or a godlike energy witch triggert our creation altough i believe in a godlike bieng/energy i do not believe in the idea of a religion (won't tell you the context of why because it might offend others but if asked im willing to send it in a message)but i digress furtermore i do believe in evolution theory even tho it's still a theory so to say it simpel im pretty much believe in somewhat of a mixture between religion and atheism wath's your take on this topic

Everything is a theory...Right now there are people trying to show that gravity doesn't exist (Supposedly some scientist think there are sub-particles called gravitrons that represent the force of gravity but no one has found them yet). But yeah, evolution is a pretty sound theory. However, it doesn't necessarily conflict with any religion. So people are free to choose science & religion if they wish.

Being from a scientific background I currently accept the null hypothesis that there is no god, and honestly I don't think I ever will be religious. I have Jewish, Christian and Muslim friends, and I do my best to keep my opinions to myself, I also see religion as a danger to humanity's order so I'd have to justify that,

I'm atheist, but I don't believe anyone should push their beliefs onto another. I'm not a big fan of overly pushy atheists who believe every religious mention should be removed from money, government buildings, etc just as much as I am theists who try to interject mandatory prayer into public schools or teaching creationism in a public school class room.

Religion can create nasty rifts in humanity but so can non-religion. In terms of nation-states, take China for example. There has never been an order in humanity. Religion or not, it's a mess out there. The subject of pushing beliefs onto other people can be touchy. If a person genuinely believes in a Hell they may feel obliged to try and save as many people as possible. It's very much a quandary how to deal with these beliefs.

Lets not bring China into the discussion unless you've been there. I've been there, and its not so bad, I had a great time and most people are atheist there as well

i don't realy think that religion is realy a danger to humanity's order i mean i think in that aspect cantthinkofabettername is right humans are humans if they cant fight because of religion they wil find something else to fight about thats just how human race is also don't realy think that if you do believe it makes you any diffirent from those who don't and vice versa although where im from those who believe are very judgemental i cant say im a believer but im also not atheist but to me atheist do just make lot more sense sinds im used to seeing all the facts from both sides

No I haven't been to China, but I know lots of people from China and I've studied China. Obviously you have a one-up on being there, but I was mostly referring to the past. China has opened up a lot within the past two decades. It has even improved some in terms of its receptiveness of religion, although there are still strong caps on different sects and denominations. Just because I haven't been there, don't assume I don't know what I'm talking about.
