Tough very hard. Because is hard to call something like that a real relationship unless you both really make the effort to spend time together online. On top of that it can't be all that healthy because you both would be missing out on so much. I think long distance over online relationships are just good for friendships or pen pals. I am in she United States and the time difference kills.

Long Distance Relationship requires this more, - Trust - Commitment - Communication It can potentially work out but it takes alot of effort. Plus also you eventually have to meet up as well. Because of this extreme distance meet up atleast a few times a year and make the best out of every moment together to compensate for the loneliness.

I don't want to sound bitter or angry because I know the hardships of long distance relationships. I am always at another duty station or deployed, so girls say they want to be with you forever but in the end, they will fall victim to that small moment of weakness. We are all human. I do wish you the best of luck and hope you are one of the few that can make it happen, but sometimes it is best to be prepared for it.

Long distance rarely works. I've been in a couple and both fell apart. Both may have only been roughly 2+ hours away, but either way, long distance just doesn't seem to work too often for a lot of people.

It can work but the success rate is low. What starts as a long distance will eventually turn into moving to live with each other. Its not a cake walk and will take alot of time and work but it can happen. The odds are just against you.

I've only ever had one long distance relationship & it worked out fairly well. Things actually didn't go sour 'til he moved closer to me. However, I've had several friends who were in long distance relationships & were completely miserable. So I guess it really varies from person to person. The thing is that both people have to put an equal amount of effort into the relationship, otherwise it won't work.
