Its all preference people. Plus you shouldn't concern yourself with people who turn you down for something as mundane as that. Do you connect with that person? Does that person treat you right? Is that person good to be around? Those are the real questions. Hell a lot of women don't prefer fat guys like me, I don't sweat it. Its a weeding out process. Plus just as many women like guys my size so it evens out.
