let's see here... well, first off, I like writing/typing the way I would talk to someone, so I like to be wordy. I've joined this place because I like to talk about anime and video games, and I thought it'd be nice to try a site that caters to that. Who would've thought, eh? :P
I've just always figured that if you can put enough tone into what you're writing when you're first talking to someone, it can let on a lot more information than if I just plainly said "Hi my name is Steffen, I like this kind of music and this kind of movie and this kind of game...". Yadda-yadda-yadda.
Alrighty... self summary... well, for starters, I'm not super hardcore about anime, I do have my list of favourites, and I LOVE Miyazaki's films. I guess what I mean by "not hardcore" is that I've really only been to one convention, and I didn't cosplay or anything. I would probably put more effort into it, but the thing is that not many of my friends are into it, so I don't really have anybody to go with. I guess that's why I'm here, eh? I also love the written word. I've always liked English class and I hope to go to university to pursue... some sort of career based on that.
Musically, I don't play any instruments, so I guess I'm purely an appreciator. I do *love* singing, but I'm not sure what to do with that at the moment, so I just do it when I can. Classic rock is great, same with Jazz. I also have a soft-spot for video game music. And games in general. Actually, more like a hard-on. XD
I like people who are laid-back, like myself. I'm honestly not a go-getter. Someone who if we both had nothing to do that day, would be pretty happy with just sitting around talking or watching movies. I do enjoy partying with friends (and in most cases so far, the most inebriated one there, not sure if that says more about my friends or more about me XD), but when it comes down to it, I'm a quiet-night kinda guy. Anybody who can appreciate that is a friend of mine.
Also, someone who I can talk to and will give me straight, honest answers, because that's pretty much how I take things. If you have a problem, let's talk and we'll sort it out. Friendships and relationships get ruined by holding things in. It's the only way we grow, eh? So let it out! :)
