I'm basically the polymath of nerd. From Warhammer to Magic the Gathering, anime to World of Warcraft, I do it all. My hobbies and passions are my everything, and I build up my life around them, from the friends I surround myself with, to my everyday schedule. On the rare occasions where I'm not painting models, tapping lands for mana or watching Optimus Prime fight the Decepticons, I'm checking what metal and rock concerts are happening in Portland, getting good food, or hanging with my friends. That last one probably doesn't count actually, we're doing nerd stuff then too.
As for why I'm unique? I guess I'm already retired, technically, at a pretty early age. I don't really seek out having tons of cash, but I've got my stocks, bonds, and all that set up to pretty much float me for life. I don't have big aspirations like a big house or a big family, but I make enough to pay rent, feed myself, all the necessities, and still have enough cash to drop a couple hundred on stuff for my hobbies whenever I please. I'm a bit of a minimalist when it comes to luxury items outside my hobbies I guess. Don't take it the wrong way, I'm not against having a house or such, I just don't seek it out. The effort to gain it far exceeds benefit I'd gain.
I'm really looking for someone to just watch anime and sci-fi while we cuddle, get excited about upcoming movies or games, look at cool art, and maybe some day get a dog. A partner to celebrate those hobbies while we enjoy them together. Maybe with some hot cocoa. I'm more attracted to brains than body. Your meat suit is just a mecha that your brain pilots, and we all know it's the sexy pilot inside that really matters :D
