I'm an avid manga reader, and also watch the occasional anime. I prefer series that have good plots and interesting character developments, and so I greatly enjoy seinen series, but I also read shonen stuff too. I don't think I could list all of the series I've finished or started from memory. My geek-fu is strong; I am an enthusiastic gamer (computer games, video games, and tabletop RPGs), and I'm technically and literarily proficient. I usually attend two conventions annually: GenCon (Indianapolis) and Anime Crossroads (Indianapolis), but I wouldn't be adverse to attending other conventions if they were close by. I have never cosplayed, although I would like to, but I don't think I have the patience or persistence to pull off a good one.
