Well I am a guy so I like ecchi or romance animes, but most of all, I like animes where people can learn something from.
My favorite example for this is Fate stay night or Steins Gate for me. I love these two.
I also love visual novels like Sharin no Kuni or G senjou no Maou, both left me with a deep impression.
