Yeah the dub definitely leaves something to be desired, as does the second cour. The guy they got for Kirito just has the completely wrong voice for him.

I dunno I thought both Sub and Dub are quality. Although Might be Biased cause I got to sit and chat with Bryce Papenbrook and was the nicest guy! But the Show is great the first season is bit better then second but still all and all great anime.

I feel the show was rushed. Would be nice to see all the floor bosses and everything they been through, but overall it was still good. Just that 2nd season kinda made me not want to watch anymore.

Well I was at Sakura Con for the English Dub world Premiere and it was like an All SAO Week end with alot of people from the Show there. Bryce Papenbrook (Kirto English VA) Eir Aoi (sings the 2nd Season Ending song) Luna Haruna (sings the 2nd Season Opening song) and of Course Reki Kawakara the creator of SAO. He said he always meant for Kirito to figure out who the Boss was early but Season two he was kinda ashamed of and fealt he owed more to the fans because it was rushed cause he was signed to do two seasons only and he said he hated it when an anime started and didn't finish right so he made a clear ending despite the feeling rushed which he said he was. He did not know it was going to become the Smash Hit it became and get signed to do two more seasons of it so he said I am going to make it up to you in Gungale Online. So be prepared to have your mind blown and twist and action around every corner with the characters you all have come to love. He also said that he loves the fans and that he did not expect the American Fan Base to love his show this Much (At Sakura Con there was like 500-600+ SOA cosplayers.. could not turn a corner without hitting a Kirito) and that he appreciated the love and that he will take that as inspiration into GGO. Was a very down to earth friendly guy.. I got few things signed by him... was fun

Ah thanks talamar. Now I have something to look forward to.

That's very interesting, Talamar, you make it sound as if a third and fourth season of SAO is certain. I haven't heard anything like that and would be very pleasantly surprised to see it happen. Fairy Dance is definitely the weakest storyline in SAO; if they can get GGO and Mother's Rosario animated, I can practically guarantee those would be as big a hit as the first cour. I was at SakuraCon as well and probably went to most of the same panels/events that you did. Funny story: when I went to the second autograph session, there was an even bigger line than for the first one, and I got there later than I'd planned. So I wait and wait and finally I got up to the front... and I was the *last* person in line that they took. The very last. When I got up there, the guy who was running the line said that it was my «Immortal Object» t-shirt that saved me. XD

It actually did make me pick EQ2 back up again, although I didn't go back to my old raiding group. Just did some leveling and enjoyed the nostalgia, used it for a bit of ficcing inspiration.

I thought it was a good series, believe it or not I actually liked the second half but I agree they could have just ended it after the first arc and put more of the original struggle in, because it did feel kinda rushed. all-in-all it was still a good watch and maybe in a month or so ill re-watch it thru again. and there are very few movies or anime that I watch mor than once, so that's saying something
