This is my zone. I love most metal. Hair Metal is by far my favorite, been to more than a few shows of Dokken and Ratt. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plnVbaoF0nQ What people don't know is that Yngwie Malmsteen had major influences on modern metal. Many site his work as inspiration. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaUCs3SoD0g Then we have Sonata Arctica which has been my go to for power metal, but it is strange, almost feels orchestral. Metal fan yes but most of mine are older like thrash metal and this older Japanese metal band that irritates me no one near me has heard of. Ezo. But I like obviously more modern stuff like hell yeah. Mastadon. The Hu. Slipknot(I kmow they been around long time)
