i am a kisa fan i love tigers and i was puck on so i feel for her.now kyo awesome character,i hate yuki like kyo too. tohru i aprasir to be like her, i want to use my words to help people like her.yet i have the split of hatsuharu.and well i am the sheep so i am hiro. ilove that its show human nature.

The manga is SOOO much better than the anime!!! The anime did it nobody's justice =shakes head= I'm like this Tohru/Kagura hybrid xD cuz I'm year of the boar and I react like Kagura when I get upset xD but my heart is that of Tohru Honda... I make no sense =^.^=;;;

I think Fruits Basket was the first anime that actually got me reading and watching it. I just loved Kyo & Shigure they were so funny, & I thought it just had a lot of touching moments in it ^.^

Omg if Akito was a girl then why did they change him into a guy in the anime? Don't make sense...

I just finished reading the manga a few days ago & it was just so sweet I cried I haven't cried at the ending of a manga since Sailor moon ToT I love Akito and Ren they're beautiful head women who just kinda lost it along the way & need someone to love them & get them back on the right track. Ayame's my favorite male & I'm also a year of the snake. I happen to agree that the anime didn't do the manga justice because they rushed it but i'm okay watching it.

The manga is soooo much better than the anime..the anime just randomly ended, and I was wondering how it would make sense to give Akito a guy voice (english dub version). I haven't watched the sub version so I'm not sure how Akito's voice turned out in there, though I don't mind watching the anime. KyoxTohru forever XD As far as the ending to the manga, I was both satisfied and kind of let down..at least everyone ended up going where they wanted to, and the ending wasn't too cliche..something about it wasn't complete...not sure what..but overall a great manga (characters, storytelling, humor/drama) ^_

In the anime she was turned into a guy period. They show his chest half exposed it's completely flat & all the other characters refer to Akito as 'he' even Hatori and Shigure who knew all along in the manga 'he' was really a 'she'. I don't know why the japanese animators did it, but I could kick them all in the neck for not properly finishing it.
