Haha, nah. Women just have their ways of bonding with other women, just as men do with other men. I just happen to be present, usually. And actually, I don't think society is becoming more exclusionary. Quite the opposite in fact. All you need to look at for that is the breakdown of the nuclear family dynamics. Back before the nuclear model, we would have entire families living together. The young guy goes out to get a new place, and the entire family comes with him. So you would have a lot more things that stay in the family and whatnot. Then... Wait, wait, I digress, I'm getting off topic. My point is, I've been present for girl talk and guy talk between otaku friends, and they're both equally esoteric. But if a group of girls feels comfortable letting down their guard around me to talk to their friends about hawt yaoi secks or whatever the kids are calling it these days, then who am I to get in their way? It's healthy to talk to friends of the same gender about things you can't really talk about with others.

i don't mind ;3 i read yuri/yaoi sometimes and when ppl avoid others because of weird things their into (like the list u listed) then i think thats good for both parties. its normal not to be friends with every single person you meet and tbh if someone is so weirded out that they avoid you then you probably wouldn't have gotten along anyhow xD

Like I'll be honest with ya guys. Girls who are way into BL, usually haven't matured yet. We're talking about high school age. It tends to slide of to: just being mildly into it. Around my age, 23, it's not that much of an issue any more. Does it turn me off? not really. As long as they like to get physical as well, else I would be wondering if they got problems.
