I guess so, I always still assumed I was fat but I guess I'm just not morbidly obese lol. It's alright my fault for being sensitive I'm just really upset with my own body for having to get something that makes it hard to control my weight and other things of my body. I still find it hard though to meet someone who is okay with the way I am, It's always usually a weight problem too.. I may not be 300 but I STILL have to deal with alot of rejection from society just cause I'm slightly over weight.. -Shrug-

This will maybe make me sound like an asshole, but whatever. ^^ Of course there are people who can't help being overweight at all due to severe medical conditions but that's a minority no matter how sympathetically you look at it.. I was chubby during my growing process (middle school) although I was physically very active att. My doc told me I have a slow ass metabolism and if I didn't adjust my diet I'd be far over my recommended weight by the age of 20. He also was nice enough to tell me that it only gets worse with age and the earlier I got used to eating less than the average person the better. I was stoked, lol. I don't eat any sweets at all (they make me break out anyway..) and I don't eat meat. Chips and other unhealthy snacks are a rare treat, too. I could eat all that and use my metabolism as a reason for my extra weight but I just don't want to. I do this for me. Because I want to look the way I do. @Cat That being said I wouldn't say nobody would date "fatties". Some guys out there even appreciate/prefer a thick girl. So don't give up looking. :) I'm also completely against bullying somebody for that reason. It doesn't make losing weight easier for anyone.. If anything it makes people resort to emotional eating which just severes their situation. I just don't think the whole body acceptance movement achieved the results it meant to which is accepting diverse HEALTHY bodyshapes. Not ALL bodyshapes. Lastly, if you're comfortable in your skin and your doctor doesn't say there could be any medical effects of your extra pounds (aka you're still at a healthy weight) I don't see any reason to lose weight, Cat. :) Sure, the average guy will prefer a slender girl since in the head of many slender still equals healthy. But there are also those who won't care and will love you just for you or, as I already said, even appreciate the extra pounds. Though be weary of fetishists, some people are cray. >.<

Chubbiness can be super adorable! i have to say that its all in the face though because a chubby body is pretty awesome but the face can be a bit of a toss up, and since i'm such a face person i'm super biased in that sense

BMI is also a tricky concept, since muscle weighs more than fat. You could be skinny-looking, but have more fat than muscle in you (hence the term "skinny fat"). I know a lot of solidly-fit looking people with BMIs that are slightly higher than what you would expect because they're almost purely muscle. I've always been skinny and though I take care of myself by being active and eating right, doctors still seem to think I'm too tiny for my own good, given what I do for my job. No amount of eating seems to work though. Skinny doesn't always equal healthy, too. At the end of it all, it's about your health and how you feel. You will be loved for more reasons other than weight, I'm sure :-)

I dunno bout fat guys, but fat chicks gets barely any love because of looks. if you look like we gotta lift weights just to hold your hand it's not going to work. I, personally, don't date fat chicks because I go to the gym and take care of my body. I wouldn't date someone who didn't do the same or similar. With the exception of those who are deciding to go and join me or go on their own to the gym themselves. It's all cosmetics. if you look unappealing, you're not going to have a good time. Lipstick on a pig is still a pig. so don't think I mean cosmetics like make-up.

I happen to like bigger girls. As long as they can still be physically active and keep themselves clean, it's not an issue. Also I like big butts...

As long as you take care of your body and exercise, it shouldn't become a problem. Everybody's bodies were built differently so you have to work with what you got. As long as you have a good diet and exercise there's nothing you should be feeling guilty about.
