Elfen lied sequel?

Shin, I thought Elfen Lied was awesome. One of my top anime. I saw it for more than what it was on the surface. As much as Neet is entitled to have his own opinion, we are not here to give our opinions on the anime. Brynhildr was written by the same guy, but he said that the two stories are unrelated to each other. He probably sprinkled in some homage to Elfen Lied in it, though. I gotta see Brynhildr! Now, do I think a sequel to Elfen Lied could work? Most definately, if done correctly. *SPOILERS* At the end of the anime you see (Lucy?) show up in front of the house, apparently having survived. This indicates she is not quite Nyuu anymore. I believe that she has lost her powers (her horns broke), but her multiple personality disorder has ended. She is either a combination of Lucy and Nyuu, or just Lucy because the dog wouldn't bark if it was just Nyuu. It already gave hints, even if they were unintentional, of where the story was heading. Total domination of the world by the diclonius. In this scenario, it would most likely take place 8 or so years after the series ended. Lucy would probably be seen as the mother of all the diclonius, maybe to the point of being worshiped as a goddess(nice tie-back to the intro sequence). In the sequel, I'd like to see her powers come back, even stronger than before. I'd also like to see other diclonius introduced that have alterations of the telepathic power that are kind of like natural mutations. Introduce some male diclonius characters like the one that was in the manga. Remember the director that was behind all the experiments? He'd be assassinated by somebody within his own orginazation by somebody who wants to save humanity. This person creates an underground resistance group for the humans devoted to ensuring humanity's survival by eleminating all diclonius with experimental technology. Most of the children born under their infected human parents have slaughtered their parents and joined up with Lucy. Perhaps there is even a faction that is more radicalized than she is and wants all humans dead. Lots of diclonius on diclonius fighting. Humans fighting for the right to exist. Lucy having to choose to protect Khouta by going against her own kind. We learn more about the diclonius, back to the feudal era when the diclonius first appeared. Give me the money and I will write this myself XD

Well in one of my in one of my what if scenarios Lucy and kohta do get together she knows what she is kohta doesn't care that she is a monster the two of them settle down and have a child called Yuki but then the organisation launches a second wave of soldiers that are genetically infused with diclonius cells Lucy and kohta Nana and mayu alongside yuka die Yuki running away from the carnage is eventually found by Bando, who trains her to be a assassin then the story picks up when Yuki is 10 years old that she has become quite a adept fighter and firearms expert also it should be noted that she is completely in control when tapping into the diclonius instinct and the story involves time travel to prevent the second wave from happening

I was trying to figure out a live action version. Mostly because everyone sucks at live action. The Japanese do a few good ones but most are cheesy and or visually boring. I wish they would keep the wild hair colors of characters we know instead of homogenizing everyone into traditional Asians. When Americans do Japanese based live action, they either choose really kidified anime like Dragonball Z and it's so horrible cheesy it look like it was made to entertain 10yr olds with a budget of $100 or They mess it up like Kite by throwing in whatever "cool" actors they want and making even the youngish main characters way too old because they are way too paranoid by anything seemingly pedophiliac looking. Kick ass is the first time Americans have made a halfway decent loli assassin main character. The French-American film Leon: The Professional (edited for American tv, lol) was a good but awkward attempt. Matilda was the perfect age but they could have done so much more. But it was a bit progressive for many at the time.

Keep anime anime no live-action for the love of God KILL IT BEFORE IT GROWS

I would actually pair up Kota with Yuka. I don't want Lucy to end up with that whimp. She should get herself another nice mentally twisted diclonius and leave earth.. Wonder if they experimented with oxygen and such.. Maybe diclonius don't even need it. I like me. I don't want human race to struggle that much. If Lucy and her race stayed on earth they would.. Or they'd destroy diclonius.

It's an anime cliché now to pair wimpy guys with bad ass girls, though the guys often get more powerful later. They tend to overdo it, but I do like bad ass girls. I meet so few irl.

It is a very interesting thought may be Lucy just wants to be left alone until she is of sound mind then maybe they would settle on another planet like Mars

That's the case with many animes that target a mostly male audience. Much like in shoujo animes the popular so-kyat guy who is also rich and intelligent often goes for the shy girl-next-door type who doesn't actually stand out in anything. They show the audience what they want to see. What can ya' do...
