Biggest Anime Disappointment?

Definitely Angel Beats. The series didn't really know what it wanted to be. It had okay humor, but turned into this mess with a bunch of rushed romances. One of those cases of having a cool concept with horrible execution.

Fooly Cooly... Naota should have gone with her... such a let down :(

Gangsta's ending. Manglobe went bankrupt too so a second season looks unlikely.

*SPOILER* Death Note after L dies. Also, for me personally, Evangelion. I watched it because it was a legend. I did't expect this weird, Freudian crapfest with absolutely despicable characters. I understand the appreciation, actually, I just can't stand these "deconstruction" type shows usually. Madoka was the exception, but I still didn't love it. Just my personal preference. Critics dig the darker stuff (Empire Strikes Back Effect), but I just don't.

Fun fact about Death Note. Even the writers thought continuing the series after L died was a bad idea. But Shounen Jump forced the manga to continue for the sake of sales since they thought the series was too short. This was later fixed in the Death Note Live action and portrayed (referenced) in their later manga Bakuman.

Uhhh That's an interesting question. Let's see...maybe Black Rock Shooter the anime. The Ova who was released before was awesome, but the anime...meh It was, how can I say...boring. So sorry for the fans xD
