What's most important to you in a match?

A least a few matching interests (anime, games e.g.) I would appreciate a person with a cute personality who likes to laugh Many people complain they would be so shy, for me is it lovely ^w^

Matching interests, kind and caring, funny, someone who cheers me up when I'm down. I don't want to be with someone who would get angry most of the time. I also want to be the short and younger one in the relationship haha~ As for me, I'm shy at first, a bit clumsy, and I'm not good at socialising very much. If I get to know you more, you'll know more about me and I'm looking for a guy who will also support me. I want him to protect me and, yes, have a jealous side x3 And looks sometimes matter, but I'm mostly looking mostly for personality. I'm not perfect, so I'm looking for someone who also doesn't care so much about weight, because I'm a little poofy- But my friends call me tiny and adorable so I'm cool with it-

@Sonic - Frequently disagreeing with someone can make them less attractive too... But yeah, similar morals and a similar way of thinking about many aspects really matters a lot, at least to me. @Chocopyro - I feel like being a creative person and having a significant other who's also creative can be very difficult, but it can also lead to a deeper relationship having that type of thing in common.

The fact that the opposite sex also watch anime or at least won't SHUN it ... Anime / Manga is a huge deal breaker for the general public . . .

Physical attraction is nice and all but what's inside should count as well. A woman with good looks and a good personality (good sense of humor, kindness, and generally pleasant to be around) is a good start. Compatibility (eg liking anime, being a otaku) is a definite must. Someone I can share in my hobbies with, that's why I'm here after all. I suppose open mindedness and being okay with trying new things is important too.

I'll go ahead and help you revive this thread :) Also, welcome back. A person that you can connect with morally and emotionally. Someone who is compatible with you and willing to compromise. Conflict will always happen, but it doesn't have to end badly.

I've also noticed that I don't exactly have a "type". I kinda do, but the girls I've been interested in the most over the years have all been somewhat different from each other, however they've all been my "type". Same with appearance... I've liked girls both taller and shorter than I am, heavier and lighter than I am, thicker and thinner than I am... girls with really long hair, girls with shorter hair, dark skin, light skin, etc. Makes it difficult to explain what "kind" of girl I like. haha. What about age? For me, I'd like to stick to someone no more than 5 years younger or 3 years older, but if I really like someone, it doesn't matter too much. It's more about where they are in life figuratively/mentally.
