What attracts you to certain animes?

I like very different types of genres. I think the art and music is a huge thing for me. I like an anime that can plot twist me, or reach into my chest and give my heart a squeeze. I'm into comedies, that can also have a tear jerking factor in it. Or fantasy types that are still slice of life, because feeling for the character and their situation is numero uno for me! haha

The art style...its the first thing that catches my attention. Then the story. But that's not what I always prefer. But I really do lost interest if I don't like the character even if the story is good. There are good looking characters too but doesn't have good story line that's a no too. Uhmmm...

I don't have a specific style, if the plot or the episodes grab my attention I'll watch it all but I have notice that i cling more to action/comedy

Good fighting action (like Bleach or Full Metal Panic!) Interesting main characters (I like ruthless and/or stoic characters) Good animation (what helped me decide to watch Fruit of Griaia was how colorful it was) A detailed and in depth world (like Full Metal Alchemist or Gundam 00) An original epic plot (like Code Geass or Attack on Titan)

Cowboy Bebop feel. Always on the go with events such as finding people with bounties to random adventures in space. All along having some background story at the end.

For me its the romance as thats the only genre I can watch just something about watching action games instead of playing idk dishonored and stabbing someone in the neck doesn't feel as good just watching xD Plus romance is just way to cute that it always ends up killing my heart from the adorableness xD

I love everything tbh..from a teen romance to fantasy war or something :) I just like good plot and visual style.

i love anime/manga where the main character is an anti hero or an evil villian thats my type even though its hard to find lol, what attracts me to anime is the unique art style and storyline
