I loved toonami when I was in high school. The good ol' days
trahecreations
They still have Toonami? I thought that died when Cartoon network started with that live action stuff on their network. I do love how it brought anime to America much easier. After all, not everyone has the anime channel. When I couldn't find anime on Cartoon Network I stopped watching it.

Yeah, it is on Saturday nights from 12am to 3am. By Adult Swim.

It's very nostalgic... Toonami's like an old friend that could never do me wrong :') lol. No, but, I have some good memories with it, still try to watch it but I usually am asleep or working on something.

They got it then? I abandoned Adult Swim after they kept showing stupid vulgar shows like moral oral or robot chicken (which is barely funny, if that)

It did help start the spark of anime for me(When Bleach was still on-going), but it out-lived its usefulness... Commercials, limited selection, being only WEEKLY AND being only on SUPER late which is bs... Although regular TV is total bs all together, so that's why I'm stream-only now. Now I barely have any limitations when watching anime!(As long internet and websites don't screw up too much...) But it certainly did help me become the otaku I am today, kind of like diapers until you can take a dump in the white dumpster.

& Trahecreations, yeah, they still have it, but it's nothing you haven't seen probably, or can't go stream online. I tuned out myself when that Robot Chicken stuff started airing.

Toonami was a prominent Venture and actually pretty productive when it was on after school for most people. After its cancellation and perhaps even before then people began to find anime online. I not entirely sure when anime streaming came about cause didn't have internet when i was a child for most of my life but Streaming sites kinda made toonami obsolete. Too me back in the day toonami was everything i would rush home to catch Gundam episodes and such. Toonami now despite being only a shell of its former self can still be beneficial to those without access to the internet or those that just like waiting on the dubbed material. So Toonami is good but not great anymore though i will say i am glad they returned to tom's better design instead of the crap that it was toward the end of its initial run.

Toonami is something I can never let go.... When i was young, I watch toonami all the time... from outlaw star to dragon ball z, to sailor moon and yu yu hakusho.... toonami was the reason why I watch anime and I will never forget it... even if no one knows what it is anymore lol
