Give up or keep hope alive

I never had any intention of finding a gf on this site or any other website I use. Anything I get, let it be friends or enemies, are simply a bonus to me. I came in with no expectations and am always surprised with the end result.

Well, distance is another factor to consider too. The females who I'm fairly interested in are living in different states/countries. Not saying that long distance relationships don't work, but if given preferrence I would prefer someone I can meet weekly, have a cuppa coffee/tea with, and just talk anything under the sun.

I have been on every dating site i could find for a year( paid and free versions) and was close to giving up some how i stumbled onto this site one day. why i didn't think of it before i don't know... Reading these forums gave me allot of hope and i am happy to see like minded people not just anime but other topics as well. it's good to know that i am not as farfetched as i thought. Now if i would just stop being shy and talk to more people..
