I would go with Lelouch Vi Britannia he is extremely smart and always seems to have a plan . Through out the series you see him get better and better at being a field commander and more ruthless as the series continues .

#1 Has to be Wave from the AGK Manga, He's like my manga counter-part personality wise. #2 Dante from DMC(It has anime), Best Demon Hunter Ever. #3 Killua Zoldyck/Sasuke Uchiha/Sinbad I can't just pick one of these guys since I love them all, Though to bad Vergil wasn't in the DMC anime or I would of put him as second, But oh well.

@aangel, I found Mikasa to be a pretty average character myself. She's definitely one of the best fighters in the show though. Is she getting extra points for sex appeal?
