Don't worry even I've not had any luck in here

This isn't really a dating site. Its more a forum for lonely otaku to vent and post memes. I can't find any active users in any location that I may move to. I can't even see my matches any more seemingly due to some kind of glitch. I got premium and it doesn't do much of anything. As with all social spaces, some relationships come of it, but it is rare because the ratio of men to women is huge as is expected of an otaku forum. In 2 weeks I will likely leave if no one has any interest. If this place doesn't give you anything, friendships, love, or if you don't need a place to vent any more, look for a new place. Even if your chances are infinitesimally small, it is still better than the zero you get when you give up.

In defense, @foolish_samurai , the owner does minimal work. Its an old site and it has its share of problems. The same users for instance returning under the guise of a newbie [trolls, harassers]. So if you see not many people adding you, that could be the reason. I don't really even look at my requests to add anymore. Allowing users under 18 with no good solid separation for the adults. I mean its good to give teens an anime space but its complicated for a "dating" site. But just like the small female to male ratio, there's still a small chance it could work. I found someone on this site 5 years ago and we are still together [I also never had premium]. We just started talking in the forum. It didn't happen right off the bat, I was around for several months before crossing paths with him. Anyhoo, good luck.

@foolish_samurai dating sites based on liking anime are very fringe unfortunately. Most of them turn into hangout spots more than dating. That happened to some of the others I was a part of. They don't last long either. Mo isn't perfect. There is a lot that can be improved. It's just one person running it and they probably got a lot of things going on though. MO has lasted the longest of otaku based dating. So it deserves some merit. I have made some good friends here. No luck in relationships but I think that has more to do with me than the userbase. Nerdy interest dating is particularly difficult. Most are prone to being introvert. So we're not the most social. Nerd communities tend to be very chauvinistic too which scares some ladies off to enjoy their interests alone. It's certainly happened here. So don't worry about it too much. If you like it here just have fun eventually someone else might join you in that fun. If you want to check out other places I suggest using discord group searching based on your interests. That seems to be the popular social hub for nerds these days. Good luck.

As long the platform stays up firm, every kind of relationship is possible in this site. I actually am fond of the time I spent here and learned to hang out a bit more in the interwebs.
